The Milkhouse is a small business ice cream parlor/coffee house run in cooperation with a non-profit organization in Fort Gratiot, MI. Many of the summer workers are volunteers with a diverse range of age and experience.

I donate my time and talents to the Milkhouse to survey training needs, design and develop job and aids, and a produce a newsletter that could operate as a central source of information and connection. As a volunteer server, I work as both the subject matter expert and designer and I’m able to get immediate feedback on different projects.
