Learning Operations Specialist/ Jr. Instructional Designer

• Improved efficiency and reduced errors over prior year in logistics planning for instructor led training courses by converting from traditional spreadsheets and checklists to Smartsheet forms and linked sheets for training management and cost tracking
• Facilitate the technology for HyFlex classes (In person and virtual, simultaneously) and create detailed training documentation to train other team members and instructors.
• Modernized two channels of instructor support: the Instructor Insider newsletter and The Instructor Zone. The newsletter was transformed from a short Mail Chimp monthly email blast to a multipage, digital newsletter with professional development support and updates. The Instructor Zone grew from a basic LMS hosted webpage to a public facing SharePoint site with a bank of links, resources, and a photo gallery of learning in action.
• Converted a 2 hour instructor-led workshop into an interactive eLearning course, including scenarios, practice exercises and a workbook, using Articulate Storyline. As a lead instructional designer, worked with voice artists and internal graphic design team to produce the final product.
• Working with a Clemson University and the state of Alabama, aligned and curated questions for a certification test based on industry developed competencies that will upskill Electrical Vehicle Manufacturing Technicians.

Instructional Designer

• Partnered with subject matter experts from all levels of the company (safety, operations, finance, quality, etc.) to update training and develop new materials that met the diverse needs of each team
• Developed a custom training on constraint management for manufacturing floor team leaders, blending branching eLearning scenarios with on-the-job activities performed following the training.
• Partnered with the maintenance team to build a skill development training curriculum that combined curated video tutorials with on-the-job observation to upskill high potential employees

• Coached individual members of the Sales team on skills in the field to improve performance and confidence
